Plus, the big breakfast down the street was some seriously solid fuel for the adventures we had planned.
Not exactly cheap, but worth every penny.

The Victorian Hotel exuded charm with its vintage decor, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to Gastown and the waterfront. Our room was very clean and cozy, with a comfy bed that made it easy to unwind after our adventures. The complimentary breakfast featured fresh croissants and fruit, which we loved!
Street noise was noticeable at times.

The room had a charming vintage vibe and was fairly clean. The location is excellent, just a short stroll away from popular dining spots and attractions, making it easy to explore the city.
Unfortunately, sleep quality took a hit here. The walls are as thin as a lightsaber blade, letting every creak and chatter from neighboring rooms seep through at all hours. Construction noise added to the disruption, making it even harder to catch some Zs. The shower was a showerhead surprise waiting to happen. it detached during use, which is a bit dodgy. Plus, the parking situation was a total mess, with limited spots filled by contractors instead of guests, so good luck finding a place to park. Also, be prepared for some extra 'surprises' on your bill—the taxes weren't mentioned upfront, adding about 20% to the expected cost, leaving a bitter aftertaste.

We checked out Granville Island and Gastown, which were both just a short walk away. The staff was super helpful, and the included breakfast was a nice touch. Just a heads up, the rooms can get a bit noisy, especially if you’re a light sleeper.
One downside was the street noise. it crept into our room, making it tough to catch some sleep.
